FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How does DermiPro work to get rid of cellulite?
DermiPro includes a highly concentrated blend of natural ingredients that help eliminate excess fluids in fat and tissue, strengthen connective tissue by increasing collagen production, and moisturize deep layers of the skin. These ingredients are very effective for their penetrating ability so that your skin appears smoother as the connective tissue is rebuilt and strengthened. When DermiPro is massaged into the skin, it helps to break up localized fat deposits, increase circulation to target areas, drain excess water, and moisturize deep down. These combined effects all reduce the appearance of cellulite.

How does DermiPro eliminate toxins from the body?
The natural diuretic ingredients in DermiPro increase circulation which nourishes the deep layers of skin and encourages fluid movement which helps to drain excess water and toxins from areas where DermiPro is applied.

How should I apply DermiPro cellulite cream to achieve maximum results?
For maximum results massage DermiPro into the affected area for 3-5 minutes twice daily after showering and exfoliating. You may have a partner massage the affected areas you cannot reach or for a longer amount of time.

Do I have to use DermiPro forever? Is it safe to use long-term?
It is safe to use DermiPro long term as long as you're healthy, and have no circulation problems. For maintenance, you may use DermiPro once a day for as long as you wish.

What makes DermiPro better than other cellulite creams?
The quality humectants and emollients provide long-lasting hydration. It's non-comedogenic and fragrance-free and therefore, safe for most sensitve skin types. Superior agents increase collagen production which strengthens the connective tissue, restoring a smoother appearance to the skin.

Are there any possible negative side effects from using DermiPro cellulite cream?
There are no common bad side effects, but in case of an allergic reaction, test DermiPro on a small patch of sensitive skin and wait 24 hours before continuing with the full treatment.

How long does it take before DermiPro will produce visible results?
You should experience visible results within 4-8 weeks. Dramatic results, in which the cellulite is barely visible, have been achieved in as little as 12 weeks.

Is there any way I can prevent my cellulite from re-occurring?
Regular use of DermiPro can help get rid of cellulite and keep it under control. Also, it is beneficial to drink plenty of water and free your diet of toxins such as alcohol, coffee and cigarettes, which dehydrate the skin and make cellulite look worse. Also reduce your salt intake as this causes fluid retention. Massage, exfoliation and exercise can help boost circulation to the area, eliminate toxins from your body, and encourage fluid movement, which all help in the reduction of cellulite.

Cellulite Definition and Causes

What is the definition of cellulite?

Cellulite is scientifically known as adiposis edematosa, dermopanniculosis deformans, status protrusus cutis, gynoid lipodystrophy, orange peel syndrome and cottage cheese skin. Cellulite occurs mostly in females and rarely in males.

Dimples can add beauty to your looks when they appear on your cheeks, but when dimples appear on any other areas of your body, they can look unattractive. The dimples, or cellulite, are lumps and indentations on your thighs, buttocks, stomach, and/or arms. Cellulite occurs when there is fat deposited underneath the skin that is uneven and bumpy. Cellulite can develop after puberty, in adulthood, or as we grow older.

What causes cellulite?

Cellulite can be caused by a variety of factors; genetics, hormonal changes, weight gain, metabolic changes, aging, nutrition deficiencies, excessive dieting, injury, sun damage, etc. Cellulite can be a very embarrassing problem for women who suffer with it. Unlike stretch marks, there is no exact reason why cellulite occurs on any particular part of the body, however there is scientific evidence why it appears on some people. We've listed the main causes of cellulite below:

Genetics- The family you are born into seems to be the strongest indicator as to whether or not you'll develop cellulite. Based on medical studies, cellulite can occur on anyone who has a family history of cellulite. It can be passed from one generation to another, depending on the dominant genes. The bad news is, you cannot control your genetic make-up----the good news is, you can manage your cellulite if it develops or worsens.

Hormonal changes- Medical practitioners have long believed that the development of cellulite can be caused by hormonal fluctuations, hormonal imbalances, and hormonal changes. The onset of puberty, pregnancies, and menopause cause the strongest hormonal activity. It's during these times you may notice cellulite forming for the first time, or your cellulite worsening. Once your hormones are balanced again, cellulite may decrease naturally, if not, you may look into available methods to control your cellulite.

Weight gain- It is best to find and stay at your ideal body weight and exercise regularly to inhibit the development of cellulite and to minimize the appearance of cellulite. Being active increases muscle mass, decreases fat mass, promotes blood circulation, and rids the body of excess toxins, all of which reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite Treatments

Cellulite creams. These creams smooth the skin using a variety of ingredients that improve the appearence of cellulite. These are a safe, inexpensive option for those who do not want to take drastic measures.

Liposuction. This is a surgical procedure to remove fat deposits from the body. Liposuction, though, removes deep fat, not cellulite, which is just beneath the skin. The American Academy of Dermatology warns that liposuction may actually worsen the appearance of cellulite by creating more depressions in the skin.

Mesotherapy. Mesotherapyis a therapy originally developed in Europe to relieve pain of inflammatory skin conditions. It involves injecting substances such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes into the tissue just beneath the skin. Mesotherapy may break down fat and bring a slight improvement in the appearance of cellulite. But it also carries risks, which include swelling, infection, and irregular contours.

Spa treatments. Spa treatments are usually very expensive and have a temporary effect on the dimpling appearance of skin.

Laser treatment. The FDA has cleared the use of a device that uses laser energy to treat cellulite. According to the manufacturer, the device can melt fat under the skin, break up the fibrous bands under the skin, and stimulate collagen production. Laser treatment is the most expensive option, and therefore, usually used only as a last resort. There are no guarantees with any laser treatment for cellulite.

There are many modern ways to remove or reduce the appearance of cellulite such as; creams, pneumatic massages, light energy, laser treatments, radio frequency therapy, and heat therapy. Having cellulite doesn't mean you are overweight. Even thin people can have it. If you are overweight, however, losing weight may reduce cellulite. Cellulite is more common among women than men. If other women in your family have cellulite, there's a good chance you will too. Cellulite tends to be less noticeable on darker skin. If you have light skin and plan to wear a bathing suit, shorts, etc. applying a self-tanner may make the bumps and dimples on your skin less noticeable.
